BRADFORD OHIO Railroad Museum Preserving A 130 Year History
Imagine sitting in the cab of a two hundred ton locomotive, touring one of the few remaining railroad towers in the nation, and seeing a small scale model of a bustling railroad town come to life; then enjoy having lunch with your family in a quiet picnic area.
This is the vision of the Bradford Ohio Railroad Museum, a non-profit organization formed in 2002 with the desire to preserve the heritage of Bradford, Ohio.
Donations can be made through the Miami County Foundation of Miami County Ohio.
Why preservation in Bradford?
Bradford was founded upon and solely influenced by one industry-the railroad. There are few places in America where one industry had such an impact on people's daily lives.
The story of the railroad town is unique and should be preserved so that our children may have the opportunity to fully understand what importance the railroad once held in our nation's history and the impact it had on this community. Most importantly, it should be preserved in honor of the men who worked, lived, and died on the railroad.
